About me and Anusboy
Hi, I am Waldemar Schuur, I am a Dutch artist and animator, and owner of
Nekrotherium.com.
In 2008 I made a flash animation called Anusboy. I made this animation
all on my own while I still lived with my parents. I was happy with the result
and put it on Newgrounds.
What I expected was that not a whole lot of people would see it and that it
would be appreciated by just a few people,
but what I got was a lot of
reactions I didnt predict.
There were a lot of people who absolutely hated the crap out of it, and a
lot of people who actually loved the work.
I was really surprised by the positive reactions my work got!
Thanks to the creation of Anusboy I actually met some great fans, and great
people in general!
A girl even told me that she found the love of her life because she found
someone else who liked Anusboy.
And there was even a facebook page made of Anusboy that I didnt even know
about until recently.
Websites actually stole Anusboy and put it on their websites, something
that never happened to my work before!
And on top of it all, Anusboy even got nominated for the 2008 Tank Awards!
Due to its unexpected popularity, I even made a sequel called: Anusboy II.

About Anusboy: the Movie
Anusboy has meant a lot to me. It has been my most popular work ever.
It was the first time for me that a big amount of people appreciated my
work.
Thats why I want to make something big out of Anusboy.
Anusboy: the Movie will both be a tribute to the original Anusboy, and a
big ass movie on its own.
It will be an animated movie that follows the events of the original
Anusboy and Anusboy II flash animations.
However, the story will be longer and more detailed.
You will get to know more about the Anusboy universe, you will get to see
more of locations like the Echoworlds and Anusboys school, and get to know
more about the motives and stories behind the characters.
Things that werent clear in the original animations will be cleared up,
but it will also expose you to more mysteries.
Next to that, the movie will have a far better quality than the original
flash movies.
My animation and drawing skills have improved a lot since Anusboy, and I
want to apply my improved animation skills to this movie.
The backgrounds will also be better and more detailed than in the original Anusboy,
and I will use mixed media to make them.
Where will your money go?
Perhaps the most important question you can ask about this project!
The money you donate will be spent on:
-Animating this project
-Materials
-Music
-Releasing this on DVD
-and any other costs that come with the production of this movie
If the goal of 10,000 dollars is not reached, I will still continue this
project, however, the production would be a lot slower, and a lot more painful.
10,000 dollars would be enough to get busy with this project for at least
half a year, which should be enough to finish it.
However, if the donated money will exceed this goal than I will work longer
on this project, make the quality better, and make this an even better movie
than I planned to.
So the more money this project gets, the better the movie will be!
About the perks
Every donator will receive an invitation to the
premiere of Anusboy: The Movie.
The premiere will either be in a rented cinema room in
the Netherlands, or in America.
However, this would all entirely depend on the
financial situation I would be in once the movie is finished.
Next to that, every donator will also have his or her
name appear in the credits, as an executive producer.
Thats like being listed under special thanks,
except it sounds more professional.
