I am a comic artist living in Australia I teach Art part time, illustrate, and I love to draw comics which I publish on my blog and occasionally make print copies of the comics.
Recently my 5 year old Mac decided it did not want to turn itself on anymore, and after some investigating it appears to not be fixable.

This has come at a time when I can not afford to get a new computer but I still need one to be able to keep working.

Therefore I need a buy a new computer to continue earning a living, post comics online and produce my print comics as well.

I have set the fundraising level to $1500 as this would buy me a decent enough iMac to replace my old one. I have shopped around for prices and it appears I may be able to get a refurbished iMac for around the $1500 mark. If this project is successful I will keep everyone up to date on the best deal is that I can get.

I am using Indie GoGo as I like the idea of supplying a service for a donation. I will be producing one panel original comic drawings that are hand coloured for donations above $20. For donations above $50 there will be incentives such as comics, original drawings, and original mixed media works on canvas. For donations under $20 I will send you a thank you card. Every little bit helps.
