"Alpha" is the story of a supernatural love competition for the affection of GLYNN, a historian in folklore and mythology. The triangle involves his pregnant wife, CASSIE, and the other, ROWAN, a mysterious woman from a forgotten Celtic culture of shape-shifters, which he believes he originated but can't remember.
His aunt, VALERIE who raised GLYNN after the supposedly death of his parents, arrives to assist the pregnant wife toward delivery, and shocked to learn that he hired ROWAN as the couple's housekeeper.
There is a mental struggle of acceptance of who has the upper hand in the home as well as to who has the martial grasp onto GLYNN, is it CASSIE or ROWAN.
