Our Story

If you're looking at this page, you probably know Agent Ribbons personally or are at least familiar with our music! It's a big year for us, with the release of our sophomore album 'Chateau Crone,' lots of touring, our forthcoming feature in BUST Magazine, etc. etc.  Lots of momentum is slowly building up for us and we're trying to keep it going as much as possible!  We have a cool European tour booked for this November --in TWO WEEKS!--and we're keen on fulfilling our end of the bargain.  The only problem is, we're broke and don't know how we're going to survive once we're over there!

In the last month, Agent Ribbons has taken a few tumbles and we're trying to get back on our feet as gracefully as possible.  Soon after losing a band member (Naomi, the violinist), one Ribbons also lost her job, followed by much less money coming in from band revenue than expected.  So, we are having a small fundraiser to try and get just enough cash for eating and train tickets from city to city while we're overseas.

I know many of you probably have a lot of friends in bands, and bands are always fundraising for something!  This project in particular isn't very sparkling because we aren't really offering you anything (i.e. a new album, a new song...).  So, we're trying to keep the goal as modest as possible.  If 100 people pitch in $5, we'll be able to survive on our trip, and we have over 100 fans in France alone!  If you want to see us, help us get over there, basically!

What We Need & What You Get

Well, as I mentioned, we are hoping that $400-$500 will cover the bare necessities.  You, dearest AR benefactor, will either get to see us in a town near you if you live in France, Spain or Portugal, or otherwise you can enjoy the satisfaction of having been our loving savior!
