What is LaunchNow.co?

LaunchNow.co is a virtual game where players compete using real life startups to earn badges, achievements and Gamerscore for startups.

Players progress by entering some basic information about the startup they are working on in to the site and then are given a set of various goals that when completed will not only enhance the startup they are working on but will earn them several badges and Gamerscore to be published on each startup's profile.

LaunchNow.co is intended to be used with real life startups and ideas. Players can select to keep an idea or startup "Private" on the site for any length of time if they simply wish to practice, remain in stealth mode or simply see what the game is all about.

In just a few short weeks LaunchNow.co has gone from a weekend project to having a completely working game with over 3,000 users and several hundred public startups.

The Impact

LaunchNow.co has reached a critical spot in our expansion and development.

We are adding users to the site quickly and have been plagued with slower servers, and been bogged down by the actual expenses of starting our company.

The initial capital used by our founder has gone to protect our name, register our business, and pay for the servers that host everything and we are now looking to quickly expand and do so in a manner that can be maintained for the long-term.

What We Need & What You Get

We are looking to raise $5,000 that will be used exclusively by our company to expand our base of servers, upgrade some of the software used to develop the game and expand our reach and allow our small team to refocus on the development of the game.

This money won't be used to pay salaries, it won't be used for expensive parties or other things that we don't need. It will be purely used to maintain and upgrade servers and software that our site currently needs.
