The filming went well and the DVDs are currently being edited, hopefully in time for Christmas. They'll be available to buy soon.

Don't worry too much about the total funding target. I wanted to keep individual DVDs at a fair price. And I didn't want to charge extra for worldwide postage. So the $9,999 figure had to include postage costs for 1,200 discs worldwide.

* What We Need

We've sourced a three-man camera team, who will film & edit two performances of each show (six in total). We've got someone to design & produce the DVD. We've organised a venue & dates:
Because we're recording all three shows together, we've been able to negotiate the total costs down, but we have to pay 3 camera guys and a sound technician 6 nights' wages each & then pay production costs. We've got the total down to just over 7,350 euro which is approximately $10k. We threw in the first dollar, just to get the ball rolling...

You'll own these DVDs before anyone else, and have your name in the credits. You can also get tickets to the live recordings. If you're feeling generous, you can book Abie for a birthday party, after-dinner speech or full theatre show (subject to availability). And, if you think they might be worth something at auction one day, you can buy unique items from the DVDs (T-shirts, the jumpsuit, my guitar). These are one-of-a-kind, so the first bidder gets them.
