OUR STORY
Mistaken identities, precarious situations and song and dance ensue in this Bollywood comedy about a gay Indian man and a young Indian woman with a Caucasian boyfriend who agree to an arranged marriage in order to fool their family about their secret lives.
This Bollywood short film promises to be full of song, dance and fun. But it doesnt end here! Aapka Kya Hoga? is being filmed as a Proof of Concept for production companies in . The hope is to create a lavish and glossy product that will entice potential financers to produce the feature length film for a commercial audience! Its an ambitious project, but weve assembled a strong team who can make this come to life. Check out the bios of some of the key players below:
Producer - Nadeem Siddiqui
Nadeem is currently enrolled at the Vancouver Film School (VFS) in the Entertainment Business Management program where he is gaining hands on producing experience while acquiring an education at an acclaimed school. Having produced a charity compilation CD and two separate episodes of on-going web series, Nadeem recently wrapped production on The Rats in the Walls, a short film and interactive piece being prepared for Compendium - V1. Lovecraft - The Evolution of Storytelling. The interactive magazine will soon be available in the tablet-based marketplace. As well, the film The Rats in the Walls is an official selection at The H.P.Lovecraft Film Festival & CThulhu Con.
Director - Galen Fletcher
Galen is currently the producer of the acclaimed web series "Riese". He has co-written and directed two short films most recently the British Columbia Arts Council funded studio musical "E Vuoto Per Amore (He Is Empty For Love)". In the past five years he has produced many short form and corporate productions including the short dance film, "Time Before the Light" and "La Premiere Etoile" a short under the Directors Guild of Canada Kickstart Program. Galen is a partner in the post-production company FrameRate Creative Services as well the President of Full Motion Pictures Ltd.
Writer - Anisha Sridhar
Anisha Sridhar is a journalist and writer whose words have been published in such magazines as Marie Claire, Darpan (), 080 Magazine () and Sunday Observer (). She currently freelances for the reputed Indian daily 'New Indian Express', writing about graphic novels and the emerging comics industry as pertains to . A graduate of (2007), she has completed two featured length screenplays and has had a short film, 'No Escape', produced. She has also had the opportunity to work within the Indonesian Television Industry writing soap operas and dramas. When she is not writing TV specs or film scripts, she spends her time concocting short stories and essays.

WHAT WE NEED & WHAT YOU GET
This is a small budget project with big budget dreams! With the $5000 we plan to primarily rent equipment (such as lights and generators) pay technicians and feed a cast and crew of nearly a hundred people. Also the money will go towards location permits, administrative fees and transportation. The cast and the crew are all working on this for the fun and excitement of making good movies! We need your help to make this film look like a glamorous Bollywood production.
