Dutch returns from service in WW1, to his home in Northern Minnesota to find the world he left behind has forgotten him. He begins to put the pieces back together, starting with winning back his since-gone finacee. Meanwhile tensions reach a breaking point between the unstoppable lumber baron Mr. Boothe and the band of Chippewa he’s employed to run the new camp. Accidents and macabre sightings become more frequent in the town, climaxing in the Great Minnesota Fire of 1918, putting Mr. Boothe on a collision course with our hero, which will decide the fate of the whole town; Grace or Damnation.
