With 27's campaign officially over, we just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone that supported us financially, through encouraging notes and by helping to spread the word. YOU helped us EXCEED our goal! We are forever grateful from the bottom of our hearts. May God bless you all this Christmas season, and please know how much we appreciate everything you did to help get this short film made.
About 27
27 is a comedy about two cousins that
grew up in two different worlds, but only 250 miles apart.Tony was born
and raised in Boston. The little city that couldn't. His cousin Carmine grew up in Brooklyn, New York. The Big Apple with an even bigger attitude. The two cities didn't like each other very much. Actually, not even a little... and their families mirrored the same sentiments. After their controlling
Italian mothers "urge" them to meet and go to dinner, Tony and Carmine reluctantly agree. If things aren't competitive and volatile enough, meet Angela, a sexy hot-tempered waitress that finds herself smack dab in the middle of it all. Yup. A recipe for disaster. Fuhgetaboutit.
How you can
help
This short
film (24 minutes) has been in the making for the last 18 months. To date,
everything has been funded by our two good friends: Mastercard and Visa. If
funds were unlimited, we'd keep going down this road and leave all you
wonderful people alone. After seeing several of our friends get their movies
funded, we've done what's almost impossible for Italian men to do: Ask for
help. Thank God we don't need directions...
Your donation will help pay the cast and crew, locations, and lighting, audio and video equipment rentals for four incredibly packed days of shooting. We are cashing in as many favors as we can and promise to spend every dollar responsibly. Any level of
your support is greatly appreciated. We've tried to set up some cool perks as a
token of our genuine appreciation. There's a lot of things you can do with your
money, and we know it. Thank you for taking the time to visit this page and
considering helping.
