The 12^th Annual Santa Fe Film Festival (SFFF) needs your help!  

Santa Feans are an avid film-going community. All year long we come together in the dark for that special communal experience of being transported to places both familiar and unknown -- for escape, entertainment, enlightenment and an endless exploration of the human condition. For four days in October, we invite the world to join us.

In response to the current economy, we are restructuring our festival, honing our mission and bringing together a team of passionate professionals who are contributing their expertise and boundless energy to revitalize the Santa Fe Film Festival and ensure our ability to premiere the best of independent world cinema in New Mexico.

With a curated selection of 40 film programs, the Santa Fe Film Festival extends beyond screenings in theaters to panels, workshops, art exhibitions, music and opportunities for film lovers and filmmakers to connect and engage in a meaningful exchange of ideas.

Set against the beauty of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in autumn, the 2011 Santa Fe Film Festival brings films and visitors from around the globe to New Mexico and spotlights local filmmaking and Northern New Mexico culture for the world.

The Impact

The Santa Fe Film Festival adds a celebration of the cinematic arts to Santa Fe�s fine and folk art markets, traditional adobe architecture and thriving music and performing arts scene.  Film lovers, filmmakers and industry professionals from around the world join our community in an ongoing dialogue about new global cinema, the classics and emergent technology and modes of artistic expression.

If cultural currency and artistic exchange were not enough, the festival is an economic driver extending Santa Fe's prime visitors� season and bringing new revenue to local businesses as festival-goers experience the �City Different� and all Santa Fe has to offer.
