The Story

1000 Blisters is a film that shows us in a compelling way how many small, negative events, none of which are fatal in and of themselves, can add up to a slow, painful demise.   This principle is revealed through the life of main character, Paulina, a woman who is suddenly confronted with the realization that a very negative change has taken place deep within her and that the person she has become is not at all the person she dreamed she would be. 
Paulinas story is one that will resonate with many.   Repeated exposure to hardship and adversity has damaged her both spiritually and emotionally.  But, because her injuries occurred gradually, chipping away at her dreams and even her values in small, unnoticed increments, she is not even consciously aware that it has taken place until she faces a critical moment that leaves her life hanging precariously in the balance.  Yet, despite seemingly insurmountable odds, Paulinas is a story of hope, of the split-second, defining moment in time in which she makes a personal decision to not give up.  
Poignant and thought-provoking, 1000 Blisters tells Paulinas story in such a powerful and unexpected way, it will leave you examining your own life and the critical moments in time that have shaped your destiny.  The films richness and complexity are further enhanced by the fact that it relies more heavily on its visual aspects than a script to tell the story, likely causing it to be interpreted differently by all who see it depending upon the life lens they view it with. 

About the Writer/Director:

Writer & director, Tim Glover started taking pictures and making films at a young age.  Having enjoyed a very successful career producing TV Spot, corporate and industrial work, Tim is now able to fulfill a lifelong dream of producing a project that is more meaningful and personal in nature and that provides an outlet for creative and artistic expression.
An accomplished still photographer as well, Tim has always been intrigued with the idea of capturing images that have a mystery about them, a hint of the unknown.   His distinctive style and eye for the unexpected are also evident in his cinematography.  Tims hope is that hes created a film that not only prompts the viewers to watch, but also causes them to think about what theyve seen long after the movies ended  because the storys intentions arent apparent on the surface.  Perhaps, then its impact will last a little longer.

What we need  

We are looking to raise about 1300.00 for final post. We have completely shot and edited the piece but need to do a little finishing work. The film entitled "1000 Blisters" is looking for contributors to help complete the film and begin to enter it into various film festivals. We are looking to raise 1300.00, the film up to this point has been self financed, if our financial goal is not met the film will be completed out of my own funds. We need sound mixing, music and color correction of final film.
